# π Things I Learned
*What notable things did you learn this year? This could be in work, in relationships, in ideas, or in some other aspect of life? List some. Write about the ones that resonate the most.*
*It's just as important to note where you felt out of alignment. With compassion towards yourself, write about any notable **missteps or mistakes** you may have made. For each one, be sure to write any lessons learned so that you end with a focus on growth.*
I learned that being a parent is a lot of work and babies required all my attention. I learned that being hermit is romantic but I actually enjoy the energy and culture of a city. I learning a lot about how my mind works and using obsidian for note-making has been helpful. I learned that the anxiety I get in the stock market may not be worth the finical possibilities or having to switch the way I invest so its not has distracting and overwhelming taking me from being dad and being creative leader.
Also be wary of being sold things, some are great some are bait
# π Things I Felt
*What did you **feel** this year? It's easy to intellectualize this exercise and miss out the deeper value that comes from including the heart in the conversation. What pains did you feel? What losses? What confusion? What happiness? What excitement? What fun? What connection? What joy?*
Feel much doubt about decision to move to Kunkletown, PA. Feel frustration with Laura's breastmilk pump, Felt social estrangement, lack of a like-minded community like I had in Staten Island, Feel very wise and mature to become a dad, feel very validated in the past decade of spiritual growth, feel confused on whether I want to quit smoking cannabis for good or how to use it responsibly moving forward, feel excited for the next year to continue implemented my plans and be in the world as my best self
# π» Theme Review
*Did you have a theme for the year, or a general intention. Take a moment to write out reflections on your intentions.*
# π¬ Letter to Past You
*What can you say to your past selfβthe one who lived this previous year? What can you thank them for and celebrate with them? What can you comfort them about? What can you forgive them for? How can you honor their efforts? Write a letter to Past You.*
Hey You, you've been trying really hard to be a good husband, good father and good to yourself. You've sacrificed where you've had to in order to honor your deep callings and desires, your sticking with the process and not giving up even through the road seems so spirally and repetitive at times. You are on the brink! On the brink of a fantastic breakthrough and you have the power of Raina and your family to support you and celebrate with you.
The parent stuff is messy and difficult at time but the rewarding moments are meant to be cherished, don't undermine that time and look at it has an obstacle, embrace it as the reward, the reward for doing all the work that built a foundations trong enough for family and for Raina. Now meet yourself, meet your becoming. Believe in yourself, dive into the mess, stir the pot, turn some heads, get some bad feedback, stay consistent and refine yourself over time, the most important part in genuity and passion.
You will make your dreams come true and will create ease, you will cry again in disbelief at how wonderful life is.
