Letting go is an art because it is a delicate balancing and act of movement. Surrender requires awareness of what is happening in the present moment and what is the true nature of those happenings. ### The process of Letting go asks for us to pause our judgments and what we think we know in order to meet reality with a curious and open mind
**Open** to experiencing what is going on without labeling it, or putting it in it's usual mental file cabinet of :
*"I know this, here it is again, this is who I am"*
**Curious** to how permanent are these sensations really? If they are always changing, how can they be part of who I am?
As you make the shift from these sensations or karmic patterns defining you to understanding their impersonal and temporary nature you start to develop equanimity. As soon as you blindly react to these sensations you become subordinate to these fleeting feelings.
